여보게

기분은 괜찮은가?
자네가 요즘 힘들다 해서 묻는 말일세!
문을 열고 나가서 세상을 한 번 보시게!
어떤가?
언제나 세상은 그대로이며
눈부시게 아름답지 않은가?
비가 와도
눈이 내려도
광풍 휘몰아쳐도
여전히 해는 뜨고
또 여전히 땅은 그대로 있으니
자네 가슴으로 불어와
꽁꽁 얼어버린 찬바람일랑은
저 햇살 아래에 서서
녹여 떠나보냄이 어떠한가?

어느 곳
어느 땅이 건
그 중심에는
언제나 자네가 서 있다네
그러니
중심 잘 잡으시게
자네가 휘청거리면
세상이 거세게 요동친다네
자네 휘청거리면
나는 넘어지는 신세니 한 번 봐 주시게

자네가 태양을 집어삼킨 가슴으로 살기를
내 간절히 바라네
자네 식어있는 가슴을
지난날처럼 뜨거운 열정으로
