대선 테마주, 관련 있는 그다지 별 관련도 없는, 이현령 비현령 윤석열, 이재명 관련주

김민석 금융위원회 자본시장조사단 사무관은 "테마주의 주가급변에 적절히 대응하지 못할 경우, 상당한 손실을 입을 수 있다는 점을 유의해야 한다"며 "얼마 전에 있었던 보궐선거 당시에도 정치인 테마주가 많이 부각되었는데, 개인투자자들은 정치 테마주에 투자하였다가 적절한 매매 시점을 잡지 못하고 큰 손실을 입는 것이 과거에도 여러 차례 검증되었다"

증시에서 정치 테마주, 대선 테마주는 ‘투기의 꽃'이라고 부를 정도로 투자로 보기 어려운 투기로 분류.

테마주라고 하지만, 해당 정치인과 실제 어떤 인연이 있나 들여다보면 황당한 경우가 대부분. 다음은 N사 윤석열 관련주, 이재명 관련주로 검색했을 때 우르르 쏟아지는 목록이다.

 

 

대통령 선거를 1년여 앞두고, 주식시장에서 ‘대선 관련 테마주’가 난립하고 있다. 대표이사 성(姓)씨가 유력 대선 주자와 같다거나, 기업 임원과 대선 주자 간 수년 전 작은 인연 등 사소한 이유로 엮인 회사들의 주가 그래프는 실적과 무관하게 해당 인물 지지율에 따라 롤러코스터처럼 급등락을 반복한다. 

 

선거철, 후보의 출마 소식과 지지율에 따라 주가가 변동하는 주식을 바로 '정치 테마주'라고 한다. 하지만 앞서 보았듯 정치 테마주는 기업과 무관하게 급등했다가 선거가 끝나면 급락하기 때문에 '묻지마 투자'로 불리며 가장 위험성이 큰 테마주로 꼽히고 있다. 정치 테마주 가운데 인맥주는 기업 자체와는 무관한 '묻지 마 상승'이 대부분이기 때문이다.

 

정치 테마주의 경우 주식의 가격 변동 근거가 황당하기 그지없다. 가장 흔한 학연부터 시작해 동성동본, 종친 등의 이유로 주가가 급등한다. 정치 테마주가 우스갯소리로 옷깃만 스쳐도 인연이 된다고 해서 이른바 '옷깃주'라고까지 불리는 이유다.

More than a year before the presidential election, "presidential-related themed stocks" are rampant in the stock market. Regardless of their performance, the stock price graph of companies, such as CEO Sung is the same as a leading presidential candidate, or small ties between corporate executives and presidential candidates a few years ago, repeats a sharp drop like a roller coaster.

During the election season, stocks that fluctuate in stock prices depending on the news of candidates' candidacy and approval ratings are called "political-themed stocks." However, as seen earlier, political theme stocks are called "don't ask investments" and are considered the most dangerous theme stocks because they soar regardless of companies and then plunge after the election. This is because most of the political-themed stocks are "don't ask rise" independent of the company itself.

In the case of political theme stocks, the basis for price changes in stocks is absurd. Starting with the most common school ties, stock prices soar due to Dongsung Dongbon and Jongchin. This is why political-themed stocks are even called "clothes stocks" because they are meant to be even if they pass by their collars with jokes.

Kim Min-seok, an official at the Financial Services Commission's Capital Market Research Group, said, "If we do not respond properly to the stock price surge, we can lose a lot of politician-themed stocks even during the by-election.
